Even for the modern people, “The keeping in good health discusses” is still the best way to solve mental problems.
In the era of the Warring States, there are so many different thoughts. A long standing method like Chung Tzu’s have to prove itself in many aspects. We have to look into the background of the era in order to know his thoughts well.
This study uses methods of spirit, body and environment to look for the stable position for the existence of human beings. From the structure of “The keeping in good health discusses”, this study analyze the problems of keeping in good health, such as politics, economy, society, mentality and nature. Use this structure for a circle, and the human beings are at the center. By adding new methods to the base of “The keeping in good health discusses”, we can build a theory to meet the need of modern society.
Chuang Tzu’s “The keeping in good health discusses” provides an ideal and a guild for keeping good health for modern people. In the beginning is the keep of the mentality. And the mental health will bring benefits to health of bodies and the environment. From personal health to the balance of the whole society, Chung Tzu’s thoughts are very useful.
