Concerning the demand of elder people is one of the hot topics in the society, and geriatric housing is rated as major public works by the administration. To encourage civil to participate in developing elder housing, the government promoted Pin-lin Geriatric Dwelling House by BOT in Hua-Lien County, it is seemingly to make good potential for the crepuscular population related supreme industry. However, do healthy seniors want such residential halls? To hit this hot topic, this research conduct a survey is which major focus on the retired government workers who are the potential source of geriatric housing market in Taiwan. The survey is included how many are willing to move in geriatric housing? What is reasonable level of the rent, and related parameters. It is designed to survey the relationship between economic power and willingness of move in through combing the coefficient results of the investigation. The findings include: (1) A senior with good finance does not want to move in, (2) Hoping for good quality in the seniors' residential hall, however they do not hope to pay high fee for its management. (3) It is not huge need of the elder housing market as anticipation .
