Summary: | 碩士 === 龍華科技大學 === 電子系碩士班 === 95 === Because of the superior properties such as smaller size, higher power density, and higher efficiency than the other types of motors, the permanent magnet synchronous motors are widely applied in industry and consumer products.
Although the permanent magnet synchronous motors are superior in performance, the servo drive controller design is complicated. In addition, the initial rotor position should be known to the servo controller to start the motor smoothly. A modified version of initial rotor position estimator by using Fourier series expansions and a vector servo controller is implemented in this thesis with the digital signal processor TMS320F2810 from Texas Instruments. The algorithms are also simulated and validated via behavior models in the SIMULINK environment.
The main contributions of this thesis are twofold:
1. improve the accuracy of the initial rotor position estimator by using the Fourier series expansion.
2. implement the servo controller for 400 W permanent magnet synchronous motors, which includes the power supply, driver board, control board, and also meets the industry standard as a prototype product.
