Speaker industry generally focuses on the design of the products and place less attention on the materials and assembly techniques of the products. It is important to realize that materials and assembly techniques will judge the different characteristics and qualities of sounds of the products. In this thesis, we mainly discuss the MP3 earphone units, i.e. 15.4mm Micro speaker, which are constructed by moving coil inside the magnetic fields. These are based on the electronic, magnetic and acoustic, powers, combined with the dynamic theories existed simultaneously in the speaker system. One of the main sections of the thesis is finding the best parameter and the most significant factors which influence the micro-speaker by Taguchi methods for the different assembly techniques of a Micro speaker in the industry. Furthermore, we discuss the characteristics and singular case of Fo, SPL and THD of a Micro speaker.
