Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 機械與精密工程研究所 === 95 === In recent years the life cycle of products is shortened gradually reflecting the quick market and customers needs. Traditional manufacturing industry has therefore faced stronger necessity of automation via advanced information and networking technology. However, the traditional automated Client/Server System has many shortcomings such as the network bandwidth delay and unstable. Furthermore, intelligence is expected to be incorporated to enhance manufacturing technology automation. The purpose of this paper is to develop an Agent-based Flexible Milling Cell (FMillC) by not only enhancing a typical Client-Server system but also to incorporate manufacturing intelligences into the enhancement of automation. The developed manufacturing agents can communicate through KQML (Knowledge Query Manipulation Language) in the distributed network. PHP webpage and MySQL database have been adopted in building an online tutorial system. Remote video monitoring function has been developed based on JMF(Java Media Framework) software development tool kit that is supported by SUN Microsystems Company. This research has successfully developed an agent-based remote flexible milling machining cell. Users can request real-time remote machining video in facilitating remote monitoring; and query for unfamiliar facilities’ operation commands such as NC code of the processing equipment can be posted to accelerate user’s familiarity for the operation and use of this remote machining equipment.
