Generally, most personalized systems consider learner preferences, interests, and browsing behaviors in providing personalized services. However, learner ability usually is neglected as an important factor in implementing personalization mechanisms. Learner’s knowledge structure, or the way in which individuals organize knowledge, can provide instructors and students with unique feedback regarding progress toward the effectiveness of training, yet such assessments are seldom employed in Web-based learning. This study, based on Graph Theory and Network Model, proposes a personalized e-learning system Web-Based Learning System for Persional Knowledge Structure Assessment, which is a structural assessment technique it easily implemented in an instructional setting to measure the development of students’ structural knowledge, detect learner’s un-linking or mis-linking knowledge by comparing expert’s knowledge structure and provide learning recommendation to both instructor and learner.
