Logistic management is recognized as the most important criteria in the global business competition. The logistic industry is playing as the core competency ability in the supply chain. Thus, the competency owned by the logistic staff matters the efficiency and profitability of the logistic company. How the logistic organization can find a right person to perfect his job, or how a logistic person can be chosen to do the right job compare to his ability. This is the intention of this study, to find out the criteria for a certification organization who is executing grading for the competency based personnel. Whose certification decision will be accept by logistic industry, and benefit to the human resources. At present, the organizations, who are operating the grading of logistic staffs, are grading by taking exams after completed the training courses, but without concerning their ability in logistic industry. This is knowledge based qualification grading. The published ISO17024:2003 is given a different way of personnel certification. Training is no longer a required component of certification, but competency does.
