By doing so, the waste is reused and it also helps people fulfill the awareness of energy-saving and environmental protection. However, the amount of cement replaced by the sludge ash is limited. On the other hand, because of the high specific surface area, high activity, and small size effects of nano-materials, nano-materials have been added to mortar to fill up pores, improve the early strength and durability of sludge ash mortar. This implies that the nano-materials may improve the amount of cement replaced by the sludge ash. But, different types of nano-materials may have various influences on the sludge ash mortar. In this study, six different types of nano-materials are selected and mix with various fineness of sludge ash at different ratios to make sludge ash mortar specimens. It hopes that, with the help of microscopic examinations, the optimum mix design can be obtained for sludge ash and nano-material. Test results show that, when cement replaced by sewage sludge ash, the joining of sludge ash leads to a poor hydration reaction for cement and a reduction in hydration products. These phenomena become more noticeable when the amount of replacement is more than 20%. However, these phenomena are improved with the addition of nano-materials to the sludge ash mortar: more hydration products are generated and the strength and durability become better. Furthermore, nano-SiO2 SS type renders the best improvement among the six different nano-materials tested. Thereby, more than 20% of sludge ash replacement is suggested when nano-SiO2 SS type is added to the sludge ash mortar. This will make the recycling of sewage sludge become more economical and feasible. Huan-Lin Lou Deng-Fong Lin 羅煥琳 林登峰 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 169 zh-TW |
