碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理研究所碩士班 === 95 === The economic of Taiwan is grow and thrive from manufacturing industry, recently activities of manufacturing industry in Taiwan is impacted by some countries, like China, so the activities of manufacturing industry should be changed. Taiwan’s government has did it’s effort to push knowledge economic and hope the industry can transform from manufacturing economic into knowledge economic. The study is base on manufacturing-based competitive priority to lead to knowledge-based competitive priority, and use manufacturing-based competitive priority to b a moderating variable and to find the correlation between manufacturing-based competitive priority and manufacturing performance. After sampling Top 1000’s manufacturing industry ranked by the CommonWealth Magazine(2006), and sanded out 600 questionnaires by mail, this study represents a detailed analysis of it result with collected 23% of questionnaires. It were processed by SAS software, after the statistical analyzes, the results are summarise as following： 1. Manufacturing-based competitive priority have positive correlation on manufacturing performance. 2. knowledge-based competitive priority are moderating variable of manufacturing-based competitive priority.
