The purpose of this dissertation was to understand nearly-retiring teachers’
retirement preparation and the education needs and of retired plan-the Example of junior High and Elementary School teachers in Hsin-chu City.
The differences of nearly-retiring teachers’ individual backgrounds and retirement preparation and the education needs and practice opinions of retired plan of overall situation. The differences of individual backgrounds exhibition retirement preparation and retired plan. of the education needs.
The method of this research was using the questionnaire of 〝earch of toward nearly-retiring teachers’ retirement preparation and the education needs and practice opinions of retired plan. Three hundred objects in the present study were random sampling from the nearly-retiring teachers in junior high and elementary school. 69.7% of total questionnaires were valid for study. The data of the questionnaires were analyzed by using the average, standard deviation, T-test, single factor analysis, and Chisquare test.
The main findings of this research were as following:
1.About the retirement preparation
1.1 Those nearly-retiring teachers in the following 5 or 10 years do some preparations.
1.2 Those nearly-retiring teachers it is not because a personal background changes to have different to some extent differently that retirement preparation.
2.About the education needs of retired plan
2-1About the educational need of retired plans： these teachers felt the most needs for 〝mental health〞and〝physical health〞and〝enjoy and amusement〞.
2-2The background changes a different one one and nearly-retiring teachers has not been showing the difference in all about the education needs of retired plan.
3.About the practice opinions of education retired plan
3-1The study way that nearly-retiring teachers prefer three items are.〝 experts and scholars lecture 〞〝the work workshop 〞, 〝retired personnels experience is shared 〞.
3-2 More than half the number experimenter reflects 〝 the time of receiving a training of Wednesday or Saturday〞. Most experimenters are inclined to in the retired hours of giving lessons of rowing education of career 〝 20-30 hours 〞. Near to have 40% experimenter choose 〝 one study camp or seminar to one day 〞. About half the of the experimenters, prefer accepting the retired career to row education in〝 the teacher studies the organization〞. 50% experimenter inclined to 〝 one year〞 offer retired educational course . 90% of the experimenters are willing to pay for before retiring educational.30% of the experimenters of course are inclined to the retired plan course and run from 〝 the government〞.
3-3 On suitable the total hours, mode of execution of study time , giving lessons, offer the opportunity , offer the unitting, it is roughly the same that a one that returns the teacher that different backgrounds change one fills out and answers the situation of distributing, there is difference of showing because backgrounds are different .
3-4At studying way, man session retreat Mr. select number of 〝 the cable TV 〞to be apparent rather than the schoolmarm; Schoolmarm select 〝 experts and scholars lecture 〞,〝computer network long-distance teaching 〞, 〝 person who consult coach individually 〞, number on〝 the participating in type learn 〞'apparent rather than the man teacher. Plan to educate it to pay the will and reach and show the difference level to the retired career in economic situation, show one with the better economic situation and nearly-retiring teachers in agreed to 〝 pay 〞for education retired plan.
