碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 教育領導與發展研究所 === 95 === The purpose of this research was to examine the relationship between the characteristics of the servant-leadership of elementary school principals and their organizational operation of the parent association; and to propose conclusions and suggestions, so as to be a reference for the pattern of leadership of elementary school principals and their organizational operation of the parent association. Questionnaire survey was used in this research, and the targets were the members of the parent association in the public elementary schools in Taipei County. With stratified random sampling, 866 copies of questionnaire were distributed, and 709 copies were recollected. The availability was 81.78%. The collected data was analyzed with frequency analysis, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, multiple stepwise regression analysis, and got the following conclusions: 1) To the survey targets, the characteristic of Taipei County elementary school principals’ servant-leadership behaviors being best aware of was “self-awareness”. 2) The most prominent representative in organizational operation of the parent association being aware of by the members of parent association was “offering resource assist”. 3) There was difference in members’ awareness of the parent association of the principals’ servant-leadership behaviors due to differences of the gender and education of the principals in Taipei County. 4) There was difference in members’ awareness of the parent association of the organizational operation of the parent association due to difference of the gender of the principals in Taipei County. 5) There was difference in members’ awareness of the parent association of the organizational operation of the parent association due to differences of the gender, age, education, tenure and present job of the members of parent association. 6) There was positive correlation between the members’ awareness of parent association of the characteristics of the principals’ servant-leadership behaviors and their organizational operation of the parent association. 7) There was predictive power between the members’ awareness of parent association of the characteristics of the principals’ servant-leadership behaviors and their organizational operation of the parent association, for organizational operation of the parent association, and “listening and sympathy” has the most. Finally, suggestions and future research direction are presented to elementary school principals and parent associations based on such conclusions.
