This Study has six chapters. Chapter one introduces the motives, purposes, and ambit of this study. Chapter two describes the basis of Skopostheory of Christiane Nord and the concepts of “domesticating” and “foreignizing” of the American scholar Lawrence Venuti as the judgmental standard. Chpater three gives a brief introduction of the author Dimiter Inkiow, the book "Ich und meine Schwester Klara" and the chinese translators, as well as publication information regarding traditional and simpled chinese editions. Chapter four compares two translations with german children's book, and gives several sentences or paragraphes to prove the additional, decreasing or incorrect translations. Chapter five makes an analysis with the result from chapter four by the critical methods of Katharina Reiss. Chapter six summarizes findings of the study and results that Taiwan and Mainland Chinese translations show different strategy. The Taiwan translator prefers "domesticating" form, whereas mainland chinese translators likes to use "foreignizing". The translator from Taiwan produce creativity shorter and more interesting translations of names and terms, making children easy to read and understand. In the other hand, the Mainland Chinese translator considers the educational function of the story from foreign culture, therefore he tries to keep the original atmosphere, style and languages. In conclusion, the both chinese translations of Ich und meine Schwester Klara have presented the features of the children's translation: simple, intreasting and edutainment.
