Description
Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 兒童與家庭學系碩士班 === 97 === The purpose of this study is to understand the circumstance of the caregiving burden of the chronic disease patient’s spouse, the effect of the caregiving burden upon marital relationship including marital affection, marital satisfaction, and marital stability, and the mechanism of action of the caregiving reward. This study used the questionnaire survey to collect 46 to 64 year-old spouse of chronic disease patients on Taipei area. There are 204 effective samples in total 304 questionnaires. According to the correlated samples ANOVA , this study revealed that caregivers feel “social burden” is the most heavy, follow by “mental burden” and “physical burden”, “economic burden “is the lightest. Regarding to the effect of the caregiving burden on the marital relationship and the action of the caregiving reward, by multiple regression analysis found the marital relationship is decreased by caregiving burden. However, the action of the caregiving reward only has a significant moderation to the relationship between caregiving burden and marital stability. The results show that high caregiving reward can moderate negative effect of caregiving burden on marital relation. when the situation of the low caregiving reward, the low caregiving burden compared to the high one can stabilize marital relation even more.
