According to the industrial traditional mode of production, not only demand a large amount of manpower and cost, but also limit the market. Moreover, industry has to face the problems caused by the long product lifecycle, a few of the variation of product, and the low additional value of products. The traditional procedure of production often causes the elder designer who has more experiences and qualifications cannot give the all experiences to the new designer. Because of this, the information of product cannot be spread, and the new designers will need do more works. The industries accumulate experience and the technology through original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and then they raise competitiveness. Finally, the industry will be not only OEM anymore. This research proposed one method that has following benefits: 1. Help industries build and set the product’s drawing data bank for the PLM software. 2. Help the designer design soon, raise the old information using time, and reduce data searching time. 3. Control the users in order to avoid the confidentiality would be leak out. 4. Improve the communication way between designers and manufacturers The method is used in the rim and ceiling fan as examples. The conclusion is this method really can save the work time and cost. If applying this concept to other similar industries in the future, it will save working time and manpower, and shorten products research and development time.
