Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 電機工程所 === 95 === In high-speed differential signaling, a multi-layered common- mode filter is one of the methods used to reduce common-mode noise. In this research, we improve mode conversion by twisted structures. This is because the structure is not perfectly symmetrical in multi-layer design. Asymmetry causes mode conversion and then following radiation emission problem. Using twisted positive and negative traces, we reduced the mode conversion and radiated emission of a common-mode filter. In order to observe the change of mode conversion, we compare different numbers of twisted structures in each rectangular spiral loop. Further, by using equivalent circuit model, the effects of twisted structure on filter’s performance is illustrated.
