First, the finite element analysis software, Flux 2D is employed to obtain the average flux density of each region of the motor, and then based on the results to calculate the losses. They are the input of the thermal analysis. Finally, the 3D thermal analysis model of the motor is established and thermal parameters, such as convection exchange coefficient, thermal conductivity coefficient etc. are derived.
