Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 建築所 === 95 === During the recent decade, the curtain-wall system is put in use in capital cities, megalopolis and urban areas largely on high buildings, blocks and skyscrapers. And these high buildings are fast growing or developing by applying the curtain-wall system. The advantages of using this kind of system are fast constructing, building materials pre-forming, Modularization, high precision, and variegated molding and design, and so on.
Although the stages of producing, assembling and constructing of curtain walls are well controlled with the nice quality, there are still some problems or disadvantages of air and water leak, soundproofing, and heat insulation. Also, under different kinds of purpose, environment and the fixed number of years of employ, curtain walls have very uneven presentations. Therefore, people usually have a comment “nice looking but useless” on this construction system.
As a result, by the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD), we are going to treat about the factors of curtain walls’ quality, technology and shortcomings in this research, to establish the standard of judging the quality of high buildings’ curtain walls. This report has two mainly parts:
Part Ⅰ
The purpose of the first part is to know the importance of the drawback factors. First of all, we have to analyze the curtain-wall system to find the quality-need factors by collecting the first round questionnaires and see the importance of quality needs. Then we put the quality-need importance and the technology factors together to get the importance of technology. Finally, we put the technology importance and the drawback factors together to know the importance of drawback.
During the process, we treat the orders of the quality, technology and drawback factors, to provide architects chapter and verse on raising the whole qualities of the curtain-wall system when they plan or design this kind of buildings.
Part Ⅱ
In this part, we estimate the quality of cases with the importance of the drawback factors by collecting questionnaires. And we would get the quality order of these buildings.
During the process, we advance the suggestions to improve the problems by collecting each high building’s curtain-wall cases and the method of improving the drawbacks with the quality order to find the general problems as the authority of raising the curtain-wall system’s quality.
