In this paper, we first give a brief introduction of methods for supplier selection based on Cpm index. Type I error and power analysis of four selection methods are investigated by using simulation technique, and find the sample size required for designated selection power. To make the recommended method for in-plant applications, a real-world example is also presented for illustration.
