Furthermore, focusing on the background and the craftsman working conditions, I chose the representative enamel utensils in Ming and Chin Dynasties, to evaluate and compare its difference according to three aspects, the external form, the pattern and the color separately.
This research found the form, pattern and color of the enamel from Yuan to early Ming dynasty developed approximately the same. Most of imitation design are by copperware of antiquities, more patterns with lotus, and some with chinese style flowers for beautification. The enamel color is bright and gorgeous. Mid-Ming Dynasty and late, the cloisonné manufacture appear breakthrough. The shape and decorative design are largely developed, but the color is in the stagnant condition. Chine-Lung is the extraordinary splendor of cloisonné in Ching Dynasty. The cloisonné form, pattern and color are greatly changing. The large-scale utensils appear and adapt to daily life.
