Description
Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 國際企業管理學系碩士在職專班 === 95 === Amid the increasing business globalization trend, introducing the ISO quality management system has emerged to be a popular trend in the 21st century, and a rudimentary certification in business quality assurance. Through a constant progress in the democratic era, the public’s demand for government service quality has also on the rise. With police administration being one of the links in government administrative agencies, in a move to bridge to global trend and reach out to the world, an initiative has been made in discerning whether the introduction of the ISO quality management system sought by the business section truly meets the expectation. The study has focused on police duty execution agencies as the study entity, being that they are widely distributed and the most rudimentary police units with frequent contact with the general masses. Focusing on all policemen at Changhua County Police Bureau as the study subjects, with which to discern what expectation can be achieved following the introduction. In spite of a continued effort to promote the ISO quality management system locally, relevant factual studies on implementing the ISO quality management system at police duty execution agencies remain lackluster at the present stage. In light of which, the study aims to examine the factual internal and external benefits following the introduction of the ISO quality management system into police duty execution agencies by adopting research methods including in-depth interviews and relevant literature review and the like, in anticipation that the study would contribute towards the police agencies’ subsequent ISO audit in the future, and as references to pertinent in-depth studies. The study findings manifested in the internal and external yield are as follows, 1. Internal yield: The introduction of the system is found to provide tangible yield in the aspects of working environment, hardware, case acceptance flow, and duty/operations implementation. 2. External yield: The introduction of the system is found helpful in the aspect of excelling public service, but it contributes little in the aspects of law enforcement, traffic improvement.
