| Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 休閒事業管理系碩士班 === 95 === The purpose of this to explore what the foreign student’s leisure cognition and human relationship will influence leisure participation, and understand recent condition and relationship. The samples consisted of 501 subjects who were selected by judgemental sampling techniques, and there were 404 valid simple, effective retrieval rate was 80.63%.The collected data were analyzed by a number of statistical techniques such as descriptive statistics, one-way MANOVA and multiple regression analysis results were as follows:
1. Foreign students had high leisure cognition, human relationship and lower participation in Taiwan.
2. Leisure cognition of the foreign students differs obviously depends on their “monthly expense in leisure”, “health status” and “continent” .Human relation of the foreign differs obviously depends on their “monthly income”, “monthly expense in leisure”, “health status”, “how long you have been staying in Taiwan” and “continent”. Leisure participation of the foreign differs obviously depends on their “sex” and “monthly income”.
3. Human relation of foreign students would affect their leisure participation, but leisure cognition wouldn''t have an influence on the leisure participation.
4. Cognition of leisure benefit had positive effects on their culture participation and social participation. Friends who came from the same country had positive effects on their mass media participation, culture participation, sport participation and social participation. Friends who came from other country had positive effects on their sport participation and culture participation. Friends who are Taiwanese had positive effects on their culture participation, sport participation and social participation.
According to the findings, this research hopes to offer some constructive suggestions to educational authorities, university and future studies.
