This research explore into the fire fighter''s job characteristic, risk perception, job stress and influence on the leisure need, and understand recent condition and relationship. This research is to focus on fire fighter of the whole Taichung as the main research object, carrying on questionnaire investigation, collect 315 effective sample, the result of study is as follows:
1.On the whole, the fire fighter of Taichung has good job characteristic cognition at present, in the risk perception and job stress is experience the degree higher, the need degree to the Leisure need is relatively high too.
2.The job characteristic of the fire fighter of Taichung, there is difference of showing because '' the academic credentials'',''marital status'',''working nature''is different.
3.The risk perception of the fire fighter of Taichung, there is difference of showing because '' working nature '', '' sex '' is different.
4.The job stress of the fire fighter of Taichung, there is difference of showing because '' age '', '' marital status '', '' working nature '' is different.
5.The leisure need of the fire fighter of Taichung, there is difference of showing because, service seniority, '' age '', '' academic credentials '', '' marital status '' is different.
6.job characteristic and risk perception are influence to job stress, namely to the fire fighter the higher in cognition of the job characteristic, the job stress is higher; to experience the higher in risk perception, the job stress is higher. Working pressure is apparent to influence to the leisure need, namely experience the higher fire fighter in job stress, the leisure need is higher.
According to this research, some suggestions to the Taichung fire fighter and future studies are offered, and hope this research can understand job stress and influence of the leisure need of the Taichung fire fighter even more through the result of, expect to reduce fire fighter''s job stress effectively in the future.
