The substance of this research explore to use as innovate business model helping Taiwanese manufacturing industry to promote competitive advantage. This research adopts case study method, the research cases are Dell Computer and Nike id that both of classic mass customization cases, but make different innovate ways. And advancing Small Niche, which is conception for manufacturing industry stay in Taiwan, hopes to bring new edification and aspect for the manufacturing industry, and find out fit own business model.
This research is found as follows: The first, mass customization and small niche are base of manufacturing industry, but they both perceived importance of customer value, substantially, change from manufacturing industry to manufacturing servicing industry; The second, not all customers are customers, a common characteristic of mass customization and Small Niche have to control target customer that can achieve their pith.
