碩士 === 清雲科技大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 95 === This study explores key successful factors in implementing knowledge management and barriers in promoting teaching and learning excellence program across different tiers within a university. Three tiers were categorized to collect research data: they are administrative tier、faculty tier and student tier. Research framework is based on literature review from several studies to synthesize four dimensions: strategy、personnel、culture and learning & growth、and to further develop eleven factors which may influence knowledge management. By interviewing fourteen people in the three tiers、the findings of the study show that: 1. in knowledge transferring channel、university should strengthen knowledge integration and maintenance in administrative sections; 2. faculty should develop the second talent and establish counseling mechanism for students; 3. personnel and culture dimensions are most difficult factors for knowledge management in universities; 4. imperfect organizational culture stockades the promotion of knowledge management. Managerial and practical implications are discussed.
