Because of the more the employees realize that their duty-achievements means the contributions to an organization, the more aspiration and involving will be brought out at work. Furthermore, the stress, the employees confront in the workplace, not only influences the employees’ job satisfaction, but also the performance and service quality of the organization. Therefore, the aim of this study is to explore the relationships among job stress, satisfaction and empowerment within Taiwain domestic banks. We collected data from 5 Taiwan domestic banks (n=563). The study finds that the employees were more stressed, less satisfied when cognized less empowerment. It seems that empowerment cognition of employees directly and indirectly influences their job stress and job satisfaction. Consequently, in order to decrease employees’ job stress and improve their job satisfaction, we should lay emphasis on advancing empowerment cognition.
