According to the data of DOH(Department Of Health), hypertension is the tenth cause of death in Taiwan. It now threatened the national fitness seriously. Reviewing the literatures, “Ryodoraku Neurometric Patterns”, measurement of skin resistances on acu-points could reflect the condition of viscera. It still can not explain completely (almost 96%) the causes of hypertension in the Western medicine. In contrast, it can more completely explain the causes of hypertension from the viewpoint of the chinese medicine, for example, hyperactivity of the liver-yang, flaming-up of liver-fire, deficiency of Yin and insufficiency of Yang, up-stirring of liver-wind. However, due to the lack of measuring instrument, scientific and the statistical analysis proof, it still can not be accepted by researchers. This research was to evaluate the relationship of blood pressure and electrical resistance of hand points in clinical examination by using several methods (Decision tree, Logistic regression).Therefore, this study was to collect one hundred trials for the measurment their blood pressure, body mass index and the electrical resistance of 10 specific reaction points on the palm by hand point detector. According to the data analysis, it showed that the data of Palm Electrical Potential detection from the group with hypertension’s group was higher than that of the other group. Furthermore, there were five certain hand points which could be use to evaluate the risk of having hypertension. (e.g. “right liver point”, “right heart point”, “right apoplexy point”, “left heart point”, and “the left ventricle point”, respectively) Finally, the result of this study could not only provide the objective basis of diagnosis of hypertension, but also use in preventing the recuperation.
