At first, the equivalent models of indoor power line and coupler are obtained by measuring the corresponding parameters in experiments. The equivalent models are used to simulate the indoor power line network by Simulink. Then, the equivalent impedance matching model is gained by Simulink also. The simulated matching model includes the data collecting model, data calculation model and matching model. Finally, the simulation results by changing power line impedance parameters are given to verify the improvement of efficiency by our proposed. The contributions of our research are as follows: (1) We propose an impedance arithmetic that enables us to measure power line impedance accurately. (2) We propose an impedance matching system model to solve the problem of impedance mismatch and improve efficiency of communication equipment in power line communication.
