We apply history-based mobility strategy to allow a mobile node (MN) to select the suitable mobility anchor point (MAP) in HMIPv6. The proposal also can decentralize the traffic concentration within the same layer MAP domain. In the first instance, we would like to apply the MN’s mobile history for the criterion of selecting proper MAP in the densely meshed tree topology. Furthermore, we organize border adjacent MAPs which in the same layer into the virtual domain. By informing the border adjacent MAPs about the virtual domain, the load sharing is acceptable. Therefore, we can focus handoff on MN’s mobile history and reach to load balancing management. The contributions in this thesis are as follows: (1)MN can move seamless by estimative handoff frequency and applying mobile history. (2)By employing the virtual domain, load sharing can be implemented in the same layer of hierarchy to achieve load balancing. As expected, HMIPv6 will be employed in the future.
