We tried to use TOC (Theory of Constraints) theorem to find and analyze the root cause after studying some related references and real cases. The stock of the key material could be controlled in the supply chain by adjusting the whole concept, combining upstream and downstream information, adding some tools and using the KPI (Key Performance Index) of inventory turn-over rate. It is expected to lower material cost in the stock and increase the benefit. In the end of this research, this study was applied to the stock management of key material and actual inventory turnover in the real case. The following conclusion could be reached by adopting the key point of this research. 1. Fully control the vendor’s stock to supply just in time and avoid slow moving issue. 2. Lower the stock of key material to increase the inventory turnover and capital movement. 3. Shorten lead-time and feedback period to reduce the range of variation and inefficient working cost. 4.
