The proposed method can improve the shortcomings of the several sensitivity factors, such as Generation Shift Distribution Factor (GSDF), Generalized Generation Shift Distribution Factor (GGDF) and Z–Bus Distribution Factor (ZBD). Therefore, the JBDF economic dispatch method can precisely compute the complex power line flows by reflecting the active and reactive power injection changes into the complex power line flows. Consequently, it is suitable for the real-time economic dispatch that required fast computation and high accuracy. First, the mathematic model of the JBDF economic dispatch method without the line security constraints is derived, and then the line security constraints are considered to derive a new one that approached the practical condition. Finally, in order to verify the accuracy and practical value of the proposed method, this method is tested by IEEE 14-Bus, 25-Bus and 30-Bus systems and is compared with the traditional power flow based economic dispatch method. The numerical simulation results demonstrate that the proposed JBDF economic dispatch method is very accurate and fast in computation. It is very suitable for real-time economic applications.
