Blood levels of leptin, ghrelin, GSH and lipid oxidation were analyzed. Results showed that diabetic female had significantly higher leptin than diabetic male (P<0.05), diabetic male had significantly higher ghrelin than diabetic female (P<0.05). Diabetic patients has greater level of GSH than healthy control (P<0.05). Both oxidation level, determined as MDA, and HbAlc level were significantly greater in diabetic patients (P<0.05).
