Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 土木與工程資訊學系碩士班 === 95 === According to the statistics released by the council of labor affairs, the construction industry has the highest rate of occupational incidents among all the industries. And percentage of falling incidents is the highest in occupational incidents for the construction industry. Reducing the number of falling incidents will definitely help in reducing the number of occupational accidents. The current research concentrates on one of the most important safety facility, the intermediate support for horizontal lifeline. The safety codes and regulations regarding the intermediate support will be investigated, both domestic and foreign. And experiments and analysis will be performed on the currently available intermediate support. Basing on the investigation and results of this research, the mechanical behavior and weak points of the intermediate support can be better understood. The effectiveness of various types of reinforcement will be explored as well. These results can be used by the industries to design better intermediate support. Key Words: safety regulation, intermediate support, mechanical behavior
