According to the results in this study:(1) Panet (1995), Lee (1994) and Hoek (1999) can be tried to get the confinement loss of initial and then to estimate the pre-displacement.The formula of Chikato (1979) can only estimate the rock convergence ratio of support system,(2) the measurement data from support, it can be used Back Calculation analysis to estimate the rock confinement ratio from the face of excavation,(3) the confinement loss of un-support distance(λd) is an important data for Back Calculation data,(4) Panet (1995) and Chikato (1979) should be analyzed by the initial measurement data, Lee (1994) and Hoek (1999) should be analyzed by the back calculation measurement data,(5) from the results, it can be show the influence factors of confinement loss is the height of cover soil and unsupport distance.
