Summary:碩士 === 中華技術學院 === 土木防災工程研究所 === 95 === Silty fines are those fine aggregate particles small than 75μm (#200 sieve).Usually, it is very difficulty to get rid of those silts or clayey silts which contains in river sand. Therefore, in this research, effect of silty fines on the concrete properties was investigated for the highly containing silty sand of the river sand in Taiwan. The variables are the percentage of silty fines and different size of aggregate. The properties of fresh mixed concrete were determined by the slump test. The strength of material properties of specimen were obtained by the compression and abrasion test. Finally, the RCPT test was carried out to investigate the durability of the concrete. Test results will be provided as a reference for the production and the quality control of fine aggregate which contains high silty fines.
