Summary: | 碩士 === 中華技術學院 === 機電光工程研究所碩士班 === 95 === In this thesis, a self-tuning fuzzy controller is proposed to improve system stability such as reducing overshoot, undershoot and settling time (but not at the cost of increasing rising time). By using the characteristics of hyperbolic tangent function, the self-tuning mechanism is constructed which adjusted the output scaling factor according to the current trend of the controlled process. The self-tuning mechanism has tuning parameters with physical meaning and is easily used to design the fuzzy controller. Performances of the proposed self-tuning fuzzy controller are compared with those of the corresponding conventional fuzzy controller through the computer simulation and real time speed control of servo DC motor. It is demonstrated that the proposed self-tuning fuzzy controller can successively reduce the overshoot and undershoot and improve the system stability.
