Description
Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 95 === Wikipedia, an on-line encyclopedia, has attracted many attentions in the on-line knowledge-sharing communities recently. In Wikipedia, people can share knowledge at their own wills by co-editing the same knowledge articles with anyone on the Internet. In this research, we took the articles in Chinese Wikipedia as samples to investigate the operation and growth of the knowledge-sharing communities. Via bipartite network and Power-law, we collected historical editorial records and analyzed the relationship between the articles and the editors in Chinese Wikipedia. Through analysis, we have following major findings: 1) Most editors are rare editing articles everlastingly. 2) we found that the editor network and article network have the low pathlength and high clustering coefficient. We hope the analytical results could help administrator and other researchers to understand the properties of Chinese Wikipedia and improve the Wikipedia services.
