Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 化工與材料工程研究所 === 95 === In 1994,McAvoy and Ye proposed a multiple single-input single-output control loop structure which includes many cascade control systems to handle plantwide control problem of the Tennessee Eastman process. They used RGA and NI rules to analyze the pairings between manipulated variables and controlled variables. It is known that the base control structure for Tennessee Eastman process was designed by use of three stages. In next year, McAvoy et al. modified the base control structure to improve the disturbance rejection ability. The main change was to choose the more suitable pairing for reactor pressure. Therefore, it was able to manage the disturbances in TE process more effectively.
In the improved base control structure provided by McAvoy et a1.(1995), there included nine cascade control systems. But how to determine the PID parameters for inner and outer loops of each cascade control system was not clear. Huang(2006) used the conventional open-loop test method to find the process models of inner and outer control loops for TE process. In this study, relay feedback test methods are utilized to determine these loop process models. Then, the tuning rules of cascade control systems proposed by Huang et al.(1998) and Lee et al.(1998) are applied to obtain the corresponding parameters of inner and outer control loops for TE process. The simulation results show that the obtained controller parameters can get better control performance an those proposed by McAvoy et al.(1995).
