| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 光機電整合工程所 === 95 === The purpose of this thesis is to construct a remote video security system which has internet communication capability. It is based on the API (Application Protocol Interface) of Skype. This thesis simplifies Skype API’s communication of commands. Users can operate Skype easily through this interface to talk via Internet. In addition, it can achieve security and monitor remote video by using this application. It simplifies and secures household or factory’s security.
This system consists of three parts. The user control handset and video security client is built on QT2410 platform. On user control handset, the main function is to provide monitoring remote video and interface of Skype phone for user. On video security client, it provides video by webcam and uses body detector module to return remote states. On the central Skype server, it uses personal computer to provide Wireless Access Point, Bluetooth communication and Skype’s programs. The central skype server also provides high-mobility and friendly GUI for user by Bluetooth headset. This work is based on embedded system with embedded Linux to provide a stable and reliable system. Since all the software are developed in module and in open source project, the product is cost-effective.
