Whether the excellence of medical website qualities, such as aesthetics of Web appearance, completeness of Web content, sufficiency of function, technical adequacy and so forth can meet the demand of users will affect perception of a website, and will be crucial factor for the users to assess if the medical website is credible and the website meet for cognitive appraisal of situational state and then to influence their emotion. This study attempt to understand which factors of medical website qualities will affect the user''s emotion through cognitive appraisal of situational state, and to conduct an empirical analysis. Data were obtained through survey. A total of 454 useful responses were retrieved. The study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the samples. The findings of this paper are as follows: 1.Of the four dimensions of website quality, appearance, content quality, and specific content have positive impact on perceived web credibility and cognitive appraisal of situational state. 2.Perceived web credibility has positive impact on the cognitive appraisal of situational state. 3.Cognitive appraisal of situational state has positive impact on positive emotion, and has negative impact on negative emotion. 4.Content quality of website quality affects user’s emotion through cognitive appraisal more than appearance and specific content do. none 廖則竣 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 110 zh-TW
