碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理所 === 95 === Vendor-managed inventory can help enterprises reduces inventory cost and improve customer service. However, prior VMI studies focus on the retailer industry. To understand the key success factors of VMI Implementation on manufacturing industry, a Delphi study is conducted. Factors, including organizational factors, external environment factors, VMI characteristics, decision maker characteristics, environmental uncertainty factors, are examined. The results indicate that project management, organizational fit, information sharing, trialability, and top management commitment are the most important factors. Additionally, user training, project team, exercise power, and relative advantage are also important to VMI implementation success. Finally, implications from the findings are also provided.
