To adapt to the impact caused by this ever-changing society, people have to keep learning throughout their lives. Under such circumstances, lifelong learning has become the latest famous doctrine among those internationally famous organizations. The tendency of drastic change of a society has also had a serious impact on traditional schools, forcing them to carry out a reform, to transform themselves into learning organizations, to do organizational learning, and to promote knowledge management so that schools can enhance their effectiveness and develop a culture of lifelong learning on campus. The purpose of this study is to discuss how Ming-Dao is promoting organizational learning and its strategies of knowledge management. Through analysis of theory and comparison of practical experiences, I hope to find a pattern for schools to follow in promoting organizational learning and managing knowledge. I also want to provide secondary schools in Taiwan with practical strategies to help them enhance their effectiveness. The conclusion of this study has been reached through literature review, case study, collection, analysis, and discussion of information and semi-structure interview. It is stated as follows: The conclusion of this study has been reached through literature review, case study, collection, analysis, and discussion of information and semi-structure interview. It is stated as follows: 1. Schools can successfully become a learning organization by building their campus culture, which is based on material culture, system culture and spiritual culture. Organizational learning and knowledge management are two essential tools when schools try to transform themselves into learning organizations. They can be applied in both fields—teaching and administration. 2. The principal plays a dominant role in the development of a learning organization 3. Set specific goals before schools start to build themselves learning organizations, or it will be difficult for them to make an appraisal of how much they have achieved. Without goals, schools can only analysis the present situation and the differences between the situation after the promotion and that before the promotion. 4. Build shared ideals, foster the self-reflection ability of all the school staff, and then form learning teams. They are the effective strategies to build an effective learning organization. 5. It is doubtless that there are some positive and obvious changes in the management of a school after a school tries to develop organizational learning. It also makes positive effects on the new staff that a school tries to develop organizational learning. 6. Concrete strategies to develop knowledge management are development of knowledge, file management, establishment of a knowledge community, release of publications, and application of Information Technology. 7. Introduction of knowledge management into a school has considerable influence on the effectiveness of school management. It also has positive influence on the new staff and it will also improve the teachers’ teaching skills and enhance the effectiveness of the management of class. Finally, according to this research purposes and results, the suggestions of this research can provide the suitable directions for the elementary schools when interested in applying knowledge management, educational administrative organizations, and further studies.
