The data were collected from single mother group. The aims of study are to help single mother to find the new life direction by continuing learn, and bring the intention of continuing learn by social support. 540 questionnaires were sent out, and 396 were returned with rate of 73.3％. The total number of valid questionnaires were 389.The conclusions of this study are following： 1、The feeling for social support of the single mothers is low. Among the social support, the feeling of the emotional support is the highest, but the feeling of the tangible support is the lowest. 2、The intention of continuing learn for single mothers is high. Among the intention of continuing learn, because enrich the knowledge can promote the intention is highest, but external cause is the lowest. 3、The age、education and income are related to single mothers’social support. 4、The age、education、income and children are not related to single mothers’ intention of continuing learn. 5、Having higher education, the intention of continuing learn is stronger. 6、The single mothers’social support is related to the intention of continuing learn. Based upon the result of this research, hoping to provide proper suggestions for single mothers、agencies and references for future studies.
