碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 犯罪防治所 === 95 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlations between self-concept and behavior disturbance of the marriage immigrants’ children. There are several main objectives: 1) to find out and analyze self-concept and behavior disturbance of the marriage immigrants’ children in junior high school nowadays, 2) to discuss the diversity among different background variables, and finally, 3) to analyze the correlations between self-concept and behavior disturbance. The questionnaire survey method were used in this research, and the marriage immigrants’ children who study in junior high school in Taichung City and Chiayi County were chosen as samples. 419 students were selected as purposive samples, and 352 questionnaires were returned. The measurement applied in this study included “Personal Information Survey”, “Self-Concept Scale” and “Behavior Disturbance Scale”. According to the collected data, the hypothesis of the research were verified by the statistical methods including descriptive statistics, chisquare test, t test, one-way ANOVA, and canonical correlation. The findings of this research were illustrated as follow: 1. The degree of self-concept that the marriage immigrants’ children have is above the average. 2. The variable of sex acts significant differences on their self-concept. 3. The variable of grade acts no significant differences on their self- concept. 4. The variable of economic status acts significant differences on their self-concept. 5. Under the differences between the city and the county, the self-concept of the marriage immigrants’ children shows significant differences. 6. The degree of behavior disturbance that the marriage immigrants’ children have lies under the average. 7. The variable of sex acts significant differences on their behavior disturbance. 8. The variable of grade acts no significant differences on their behavior disturbance. 9. The variable of economic status acts significant differences on their behavior disturbance. 10. Under the differences between the city and the county, the behavior disturbance of the marriage immigrants’ children shows no significant differences. 11. The higher degree of their self-concept leads to the disappointed performance of their behavior disturbance. According to these findings, some suggestions for educational guidance were proposed. Moreover, recommendations for further studies were offered in this dissertation.
