As a ‘subculture’ research, tattoos are viewed as ‘individual style’ for teenagers. This research focuses on three sections: the construction of self-identity; interpersonal relationship and groups identities; and the representation of tattoos and bodies based on the filed of tattoos. Therefore, tattoos are seen as the important character of sub-culture and the symbol of identity for the teenagers in Taiwan. The main findings of this research are as follows: As culture once that teenagers tattoo is involved in the control of mass media, have been undoubtedly stuck the label, they regard tattooing as teenagers curiously and excitedly in the face of the media cannot help but feel branding , incantation yard , psychological disease under the violence crime under, and propose their experience and view to rectification of name for it comes and explain. In fact, the motive that teenagers participate in tattooing is nothing more than: Permanent commemoration , decorating driving the curious catalysis with body art and of the same generationly popularly. These motives have reflected the simple idea of the behavior that teenagers participate in tattooing too. And tattoo to possess the following important meaning: The individualized style is represented, the emotion leads off, increases the friend, and the health acts on one''s own. Guide , argumentation of the media , teenagers'' approval and social work of major culture, turn into an association influencing each other .
