The principal parameters, including materials of liquid crystal, the thickness of cell gap, pretilt angle and rubbing angle were used to simulate with optical analyzer. The results of director alignment distribution and equal potential distribution were discussed in the liquid crystal cell. We also tried to find the best parameters. According to these results, we can improve the color shift for LCD between 380nm and 420nm of phase retardation, 4°and 6 of pretilt angle. Then, we reduced light leak of liquid crystal layer in inclined direction by using four different biaxial retardation films. The contrast ratio was above 20:1 in horizontal and vertical viewing angle ±70°,and improved the viewing angle range over 160˚for.
