It helps double salary family take care of their children who study in the elementary school after classes. The purpose of the study was to go deeply into the world of the parents who experienced their children having study in the after-school classes. This study uses the hermeneutic phenomenology methodology that is one of the qualitative research methods. It is intended to interpret and discover the nature of such lived experience and the hidden meanings. Semi-structured interviews were conducted as the major method to develop a conversational relationship with 5 mothers and 2 fathers that their children have the after-school classes experiences. Through the participants sharing their experience and the thematic analysis, four themes are identified: 1.The parents have the anaclisis of the after-school classes; 2.The parents experience hard time to select a perfect after-school class for their children; 3.The parents experience happy and worry; 4.The parents feel the competition but they still hope their children could have a happy childhood. Based on the result of this study, the author suggests the business owner of after-school classes should make sure that students are safe and their homework are finished. It is also important to keep a good relationship with the parents, not only focusing on the school work but also on having a good time with the children.
