Bauhaus is earliest to include basic course in designing the educator. “The sketch is a foundation of the fine arts of the shaping.” The sketch is a kind of indispensable behavior ways of visual art and shaping art too. The sketch is not only the training for a kind of behavior skill and technique, but the emotion and mood display very important method. The sketch is not only a kind of painting form, can get the result of communicating as the media that is transmitted. Method that this research uses document probing into, present situation to investigate. Use the network to link universities and colleges department four -year system design department in the daytime, teaching plan of course of sketch, painting, design sketch or designing painting etc. Investigate the situation that basic painting course is implemented.This study showed that : 1. In a situation that the mapping software of the computer is generally used, the ability that hands paint is still paid attention to. So, design department in on course plan, must regard sketch, painting, design sketch or design painting,etc. as course of study still. Train students'' observation ability, ability to express of the shaping and impression of beauty, train students to develop one''s own style. 2. At course on it arrange,the every department one subject name with, credit count with class period in accordance with characteristic and not had different. In teaching, the majority begins to train from the skill. In the content of courses, the teacher will consider department''s characteristic and personal speciality, the repeated phenomenon appears in the result . Plan to lack overall doing in the test amount and unanimous planning in course. Teach to lack and coordinate to communicate too among the teachers .
