Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 視覺傳達設計系碩士班 === 94 === The local historical museum archives the local culture relics and as an important media communicates with outside communities. Interpretation of cultural heritage relates to the process of defining and explaining the culture and its origins. Heritage interpretation tells the tales of the land, people, and helps people to form connections with their heritages. This research was focused on the heritage interpretation and exhibition design of Hakka culture and the heritage of the Taipei County Hakka Culture Museum, Donshi Hakka Culture Museum and Meei-Nong Hakka Culture Museum by expert''s and visitor’s interview and case study methods. The aims of this research were to understand how Hakka Culture Museums interpreted their culture and heritages; the exhibition methods and the cognition and dissemination of the Hakka Culture. The results were as follows: 1. Hakka Culture Museums interpreted Hakka culture from the aspects of history, traditional culture, tourism, cultural preservation and education. 2. The mode of exhibition was according to the managing style of museums and exhibiting objects. Labels and heritage objects were the most common methods for display. The atmosphere of the exhibition space could arouse visitor’s interest. The visitor could have the experience of the Hakka culture through the interaction and hands-on devices. 3. Furthermore, the visitors suggested that museums could change the presentation of exhibition topics; strengthen the interaction of exhibition; improve the tours guide system; and set up some souvenir stores. Appropriate interpretation and exhibition of Hakka Culture Museums played important roles of cultural publicity. In order to introducing Hakka culture successfully, the needs of audiences should be considered as much as possible during the planning stage. Although the establishment of Hakka Culture Museums was helpful to popularize the Hakka culture, however the self-identification of Hakka race was the most important way to succeed the Hakka culture.
