Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 機械工程系碩士班 === 94 === The aim of this research is to develop a new innovative electrolytic machining method in order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of electrolytic machining. The traditional electrolytic machining soaks the portion of work piece to be machined in the electrolyte, causing problems of renewal, sludge and stray currents. These all affect the accuracy and efficiency of machining. This study therefore focuses on developing a new method, termed “innovative coaxial gushing and sucking”, to solve the above mentioned problems, and discusses about its influence on the electrolytic machining when matched with ultra short-pulse DC current and auxiliary anode. Experimental electrolytes are sodium nitrate and sodium chloride wt 20%. The electrode is solid tungsten carbide ψ300um and SUS304 hollow tube with an outside diameter of 0.5mm and an inside diameter of 0.26mm. The work piece is SUS304 mirror surface plate with thickness of 1 mm. The surface roughness of the hole of ECM works best at Ra 0.006um and Rmax 0.03um. Although the line ECM has not been satisfactory so far, the potential benefit of using an auxiliary anode seems promising. It is hoped that a better-than micro-milling quality can be eventually achieved by the proposed method that produces burr-less work pieces without requiring further polishing.
