Therefore, the difference between the system designers and actual users in practical uses can be minimized. The purpose of this study is to complete the automatic updates of our previously developed dengue virus relational database and add the functionalities of logic (AND/OR) in the search criteria of its basic search function through the help of UML in analysis and design. This eliminates the necessity of daily updates performed by database system administrator as well as increases the search functionality.
